Alivia and our daughter Alisha were born a week apart.  Her mom and I have been good friends for many years.  Mary told me Alivia was engaged by sending me a text that read “love is in the air”!  Drew is so perfect for Alivia.  When they are together you can see the love and admiration they have for each other.  There is such a peace in knowing that your daughter will be loved and cherished by a man that God has chosen just for her!

Drew and Alivia met at Purdue University where they were both furthering their education.  Alivia had studied geology and wanted her wedding to reflect her love of nature, geo’s, and succulents.  She chose lush greenery and soft muted tones of blush and cream with lots of texture brought into her bouquet with succulents.

There were so many gorgeous pictures from this wedding I hardly knew which ones to pick to use on my website.  o.martin photography did a great job capturing so many beautiful elements from this day!

    Those eyes!

Alivia chose to have her sisters both stand beside her that day and share the title of maid of honor.  A sister is a forever friend!

I love this picture of Drew enduring one of the many pictures that day and of course all the gorgeous maids bouquets!  This guy is a keeper!

The reception turned out so beautiful!  Mary and I are a great team!  She knew what Alivia liked and gathered so many fun decorations for me to work with.  With so many great things it was easy to put together unique table arrangements and touches around the fellowship hall that showed Alivia’s style.

A great way to get double duty out of the bridesmaids bouquets is to use them as a centerpiece. Here we used cute little wooden boxes with small mason jars inside for the girls to drop their bouquets in when they got to the reception!

Who doesn’t love a long table draped with beautiful greens, roses, and candle light! Tucked into these arrangements were the geo rocks she had collected from her travels!

This arrangement was my favorite! Greenery cascading out of this orb with flowers tucked into the center! So much texture in this one arrangement!

Mary collected lots of wine bottles from anyone who would save them for her and I filled them with greens, blooms and candles!

The focal point was the beautiful arbor where Drew and Alivia greeted all their family and friends that came to celebrate with them!  I loved the airiness of the greenery and flowers and the simple glass terrariums that hung from the middle of the arbor.  I wove little lights throughout the flowers and it was the finishing touch that made the flowers stand out!

Drew’s mom had called me and asked me to do a special centerpiece for the rehearsal dinner head table,  She wanted me to incorporate special place cards for Drew and Alivia and wanted them to be able to use it at the reception also.  I wanted something unique for this piece so I asked my daughter Alisha to write on some stone coasters I had purchased.  On two of the coasters she wrote their names and on the other two she wrote Mr. and Mrs. which I nestled into the centerpiece.  I love how this turned out and love that they have the coasters to have and use as a keepsake from this special day!

Alisha and Whitney are the talented artists of etre design co. They create beautiful custom invitations and signage to reflect your style and vision!

I could go on and on about this wedding and the little things that made it so special and beautiful but in the end it is not about all the beautiful details,  but about the beautiful couple that made a vow to love and cherish one another through the ups and downs of life!  Thank you Drew and Alivia for giving me the opportunity to make your day special.  I wish you both many years of happiness as you cling to one another and God!

Alivia wanted her first look pictures to be taken under a weeping willow tree. What a precious picture captured of the gift these two have been given in one another!
