Alex and Angie:

by Lisa Knobloch

Alex and Angie won a New Year’s wedding giveaway that I partnered along side with Photos by Ariel and Simply Elegant By Cheri.  What an incredible thing to win as you start your life together!  Like so many couples this year Alex and Angie went ahead and held the ceremony on the original date they had planned, then in September they moved forward with a reception with some of their family and friends.  Every bride needs a beautiful bouquet, but in Angie’s case she was able to carry two different bouquets! When I met with Angie she requested using flowers other than roses.  For Angie’s first bouquet I used white peonies, lisianthus, stock and ranunculus.  Alex wore a boutonniere picked from her bouquet. In September for the reception they were able to included all the bridesmaids and groomsmen. This day was spent with their closest family and friends.  For Angie’s second bouquet I used the white lilies that she originally had planned for her bouquet.  I used a pretty velvet blue ribbon that matched the bridesmaid dresses.
The bridesmaids carried simplified bouquets with a touch of soft blue that complimented Angie’s bouquet.  The simple whites looked beautiful against the soft ice blue dresses.  It was so fun to have a part in making this day special for a very deserving couple.  Congratulation Alex and Angie!
