Alissa’s wedding was extra special to me because her mom and I were high school friends! When Jaunita messaged me to ask if I would consider coming to Indiana to do the flowers for her daughter’s wedding I said “yes” immediately! It was such an honor to be a part of their day and reconnect with a friend! It was so special to get to know Alissa and so fun to see so much of her mom in her! Alissa wanted bouquets of more greenery than flower color. Her bridesmaids wore deep maroon dresses and the bouquets filled with cream, burgundy, eucalyptus, succulents, and blue thistle complimented them perfectly.Alissa was married at the beautiful Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Lafayette, In. The beautiful stained glass windows made for a wonderful backdrop for the ceremonyThe reception was held at Hidden Hollow Farms in Crawfordsville. We drove out to the barn on a beautiful fall afternoon. The weather was absolutely perfect and so was this venue! It was such an amazing setting with a guest house on site, fun outdoor areas where guests could mingle, and a beautiful barn to host the reception. After putting some finishing touches on the reception Keith and I enjoyed meandering through some of the trails on the property. Thank you Kyle and Alissa for asking me to be a part of making your day special and giving me the opportunity to reconnect with part of my past! I look forward to seeing where life takes you both!
