As I was putting flowers on the Arbor for Sam and Jesla’s wedding at Marlene’s Event Barn I was reminded again how blessed that I am to be doing what I love. To be outdoors on a beautiful October day arranging flowers…..it doesn’t get much better!
2020 has been such a challenge for so many, but as a wedding florist I have witnessed so many joys! To watch couples move forward with their wedding even though it may not look like they originally planned and to be a part of making their day special!
Sam and Jesla are a special couple. The love for one another radiated from them and their anticipation for their wedding day was contagious!
Jesla’s vision for her wedding day included soft tones of cream, blush, and mauve with minimal greens. The result was a light, airy bouquet that went beautifully with the silvery Blue velvet dresses that the bridesmaids wore.
Sam and the guys looked dashing in their blue suits!
Even their beloved dog was a big party of the festivities!
The pretty compote arrangements that anchored the beginning of the aisle were moved to the reception space and used as centerpieces. The arbor flowers also doubled as a focal piece on the head table. Brass candlesticks with small bud vases and scattered grasses completed this look on the tables.
I loved the cookie cake that Sam and Jesla chose!Congratulations Sam and Jesla on your marriage! I loved being a part of your amazing day!
