When Amber reached out to me to do her wedding flowers I was so excited! Every wedding is special but Amber is my niece which makes it extra special! I usually start out with a picture of the bride but for this post I am going to start out with a family picture!
Amber’s mom is my sister and I dearly love this family! I remember when my sister asked me to be in her wedding and I was so excited! I remember as she had each of her 7 children (yes, my sister is pretty amazing!) and spending time at their house before I got married and moved to Illinois. Family is such a blessing and being a part of making this day special for Amber and Keith was so fun!
For this wedding I traveled back to Indiana. Amber’s wedding was held in a little chapel in Lafayette. They were surrounded by family and their closest friends as they exchanged their vows in this cute little church.
Amber owns a restaurant call Roots in Wolcott, IN and Keith is a Chef. This is actually how the two of them met when Keith helped Amber when she first opened her restaurant.
Since food is an important part of both of their lives it was the center of the reception. The night was so special as the couple stood and shared about their faith and the journey that brought them together. Amber shared their purpose in serving the meal family style and their desire for everyone to break break together and enjoy the meal that her and Keith had prepared. It was delicious!!!Amber’s bouquet was filled with dainty white flowers. Her garden style bouquet was filled with delphinium, lilacs, scabiosa, helabores, stock, babies breath, sweet peas, tulips, astrantia, and lisianthus. Amber loves ferns so we added narrow sword fern and leather leaf.
The bridesmaids carried downsized bouquets of Amber’s
Thank you Amber and Keith for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
