James and Kayla’s July wedding took place in Bloomington, IL at Eastland Suites. They were married outside in the garden area and their reception was held there in the banquet room. Kayla’s bouquet was a beautiful garden style bouquet filled with roses, ranuculous, astillbe, stock, blue thistle, rice flower and astrantia.
James and Kayla included their beloved dogs in the ceremony so of course we needed a collar of flowers for her dog and a bow tie for his!
I love that Kayla wore her mom’s wedding dress that she had altered to fit her and her style!
They were married under the gazebo in the gardens. Adding flowers to the gazebo that warm summer day was a challenge. As I started to arrange the flowers on the gazebo I began getting bombarded with Japanese beetles. They were clinging to the flowers, the draping and me 🙂
At the reception half of Kayla’s tables had pretty compote arrangements and the other half had pillar candles and greenery.
Kayla had a small cake topper that they could cut into.
Congratulations James and Kayla! I loved being a part of your day!
