Seth & Emma: July 14, 2018

by Lisa Knobloch

I just love when I get to do a wedding of someone who I have known for a long time and watch grow up.  It is also really special to be able to attend the wedding after so many hours preparing for this special day!   Seth is such a great guy and his family has always been special to me!  We have attended football and basketball games, followed our kids around the golf course, sat through multiple awards banquets, prom previews, after proms, concession stands……….you get it…….we did years and years of everyday life with this family and formed a friendship through it all.  The first time I met Emma I knew she was special!  She is beautiful inside and out and fits perfectly in this wonderful family!

Emma knew the basics of what she wanted in colors and style for her wedding but gave me free reign when it came to design and her reception centerpieces.   Her bouquet was filled with soft creams and blushes but had a pop of burgundy.  I love all the texture in this bouquet!

Her bridesmaids carried a downsized version of her bouquet.

and Seth’s boutonniere looked like it was picked from her bouquet!

The ceremony took place in front of an arbor draped in fabric and flowers!

After the wedding we removed the flower sprays from the arbor and used them on the head table and bar area at Metamora Fields.  I love when a couple can reuse their ceremony pieces at the reception!  It is a great way to stretch your floral budget!

We use 4 different centerpieces on her tables.  This venue begins with a beautiful room but  fresh flowers add so much to the space!

Beautiful arrangements in gold mercury compote containers

Lanterns filled with fresh flowers

Candles and wood rounds surrounded by eucalyptus greenery

and last but not least we scattered these tall gold stands with cascading florals throughout the room to give some height as you looked over the room.

The girls bouquets were placed in these gold mercury vases and gave a pop of color to the head table.  This venue is a beautiful setting with all the glass windows overlooking the greens!

Congratulations to this special couple!  I wish you many wonderful years walking hand in hand!
