I knew Caleb and Sophie both individually and got to know them both a little better when we went along on the ISU trip to New York City to minister to the people at the Love Kitchen, Teen Challenge, and pray with those who were hurting along the bustling streets in the Bronx. After being with these two those few days in New York I can see where they are a perfect pair because they both have a sincere love for others and for the Lord. They both desire to glorify God with their lives and together I know they will do amazing things! Sophie is so sweet and actually reminds me of Caleb’s mom Jackie. They say that boys sometimes marry women like their moms and in this case I think it is very true!
Sophie’s color pallet was in the blush, cream, burgandy and red. She had told me she liked spider mums, and also wanted some proteas in her bouquet. I love the richness of the colors that when combined made a stunning bouquet. The burgandy dahlias, proteas, blushing bride proteas, calycina, spider mum, quicksand roses, red plumed celosia, lisianthus, silver dollar eucalyptus, and seeded eucalyptus created a bouquet full of texture. Danae Leigh Photography did an amazing job with the pictures she captured from this special day. The bridesmaids bouquets were a simplified version of her bouquet. I love it when a bride gives me an idea of what she likes but gives me the creative freedom to do what I think will look the best. I appreciate the trust and confidence that a bride puts in me to make her day beautiful!
Sophie wanted a simple cluster of flowers in her hair to compliment her bouquet. The quicksand roses with the hints of burgandy and red were perfect.
Congratulation Caleb and Sophie on your marriage! I wish you many happy years together as your two lives are now one!
